Welcome. Please join me as I share information about my research and writing projects in women's history. I am the author of Mobilizing Minerva: Women in the First World War (Urbana: University of Illinois Press, 2008) and, with Erika Kuhlman, co-editor of Women and Transnational Activism in Historical Perspective (Leiden: Republic of Letters, 2010).
I am currently at work on a biography of Esther Clayson Pohl Lovejoy, Oregon public health and suffrage activist and leader in medical humanitarian relief after the First World War.
